Privacy Policy

Overview

ShotClock Pro ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website www.24shotclock.com (the "Site"). This page explains what information is collected when you use the Site and how it is used.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information directly. The Site is a free tool — no account, login, or registration is required.

Cookies and Tracking

We use third-party services that may set cookies or collect anonymous usage data. By using the Site you consent to cookies being placed in accordance with this policy. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly as a result.

Cookie Consent

When you first visit the Site, you are asked whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland see a consent message provided by Google, a Google-certified consent management platform that follows the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Other visitors see the Site's own cookie banner. Until you make a choice, Google Consent Mode is set to deny analytics storage, advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalisation, so no analytics or advertising cookies are set for those purposes.

If you accept, Google Analytics and Google advertising cookies may be used as described below. If you decline, they remain disabled, although Google may still serve non-personalised ads that do not use cookies for personalisation. You can review or change your choice at any time with the "Privacy and cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

Information Stored on Your Device

To remember your preferences, the Site stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage: your theme (light or dark), language, custom keyboard shortcuts, cookie choice, and the IDs of the last few YouTube videos you loaded in YouTube Free Play. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with the Site (e.g., pages visited, session duration, country). This data is anonymous and aggregated — Google Analytics does not identify individual users.

Google Analytics uses cookies to track usage. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google AdSense and Advertising Cookies

The Site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this Site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.

The DoubleClick DART cookie. Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie, now part of Google's advertising cookies, to serve ads to visitors based on their visits to this Site and other sites. The cookie lets Google and its partners measure ad performance, limit how often you see the same ad, and show ads that are more relevant to you. It does not contain your name, email address, or other personal contact information.

Other third-party ad vendors or ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads on the Site. We do not control these cookies, and their use is governed by the vendors' own privacy policies.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (www.google.com/settings/ads). You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices, or, in the European Economic Area and the UK, at www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Embedded YouTube Videos

YouTube Free Play embeds videos from YouTube, a Google service. When you load a video, YouTube may set cookies and collect usage data under Google's privacy policy. No video is embedded until you choose to load one.

Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to external websites (e.g., FIBA). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.

Children's Privacy

The Site does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
